With WinSCP files can be copied to and downloaded from your IPFire. The application looks like Norton Commander and the handling is nearly the same.
The traffic goes through a secure SSH-Tunnel.
WinSCP configuration
If you have installed and opened WinSCP, you should see the logon WinSCP window.

Click on New.

Under Host name you can enter the IP from IPFire (in this example 192.168.0.1 ).
Remember that the port is 222 - if you didnt changed it.
The User name is root (default - if not changed), enter your root password and press the Saveā¦ button.
Now, you should find root@192.168.0.1 in Stored sessions.

Mark this entry, press the Login button and you should see the IPFire folders.
