Log
Core Update 184
- Very little/almost no feedback
- Should be ready for release this/next week
Core Update 185
- Suricata 7
- Requires testing whether JA3 rules are working now
- We will keep this open for another 7-10 days before we close the merge window
Btrfs
- This feature is currently under development
- We can snapshot systems before updates and can easily roll back
Location
Infrastructure
- A new server is on its way to HAJ after a hardware failure on an older one
- It will run on ZFS for better usage of our cheap physical storage
- The VMs have massively been reconfigured to take advantage of underlying storage features
- There is a lot better Git housekeeping
- There is a new time service running on chrony - even with NTS
