Configuring 3 NICs to be bridged together for Green

Premise

You have 4 NICs on a machine and want to have a Red & Green Network configuration type with 1 NIC for Red and 3 NICs bridged together for Green.

Tutorial

The configuration procedure is a three step process.

1. Carry out a fresh installation and accept the default Green + Red Network configuration type and then follow the remaining installation steps and selecting one NIC for Red and another NIC for Green. This will leave 2 NIC's unassigned.
   

   

   

2. Change the Operating Mode for Green from Default to Bridged. Then for the remaining two unassigned NICs change them from None to Native
   

   

   

3. Reboot the system to implement the bridged NICs on Green. IPFire will now act as a switch between the Green zone and the three bridged NICs
