do not expect too much from this blog post. I just want to tell you fellows what has been done in the last few days…
Pakfire for IPFire 3.x became a little bit more mature because a lot of bugs were fixed and a lot of testing was done as well.
The package format changes a lot because we got rid of GNU make which is a huge success and gives us the opportunity to be more flexible in the way we design the package makefiles.
Additionally, we got pakfire RPM packages for CentOS 6, Scientific Linux 6 and Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 which are available over here.
Packages for Debian and Debian-based distributions are on the way. If there is an expert on Debian packages out there, feel free to give me a call.
